The owner of One Two Cosmetics came to me for a glamorous logo to represent her new cosmetic start-up and initial product, One Two Lash. The result was this iconic circular logo that is now the centerpiece of all One Two Lash packaging.

The Castro Theatre is a historical San Francisco movie house built in 1922. Its most famous feature is the all-Wurlitzer pipe organ that rises from the stage before every event. The editor reached out to me in 2008 to redesign their calendar listings in a fun poster format to match the energy and diversity of the programming which includes repertory cinema, foreign films, and film festivals. Each month we combine poster art and other elements for each calendar date, as well as create a colorful backside with details on each event.

LP, CD PACKAGING // GRAPHIC DESIGN
Kiam Records is an independent artist label from NYC since 2002. The owner Jennifer O'Connor and I used to work in the offices of New York City's The Knitting Factory venue in the mid-90s. When Jennifer started her own label she reached out to me to do LP and CD packaging as well as flyers and handbills for her artist roster.
Marina Times / Northside Newspapers
LAYOUT DESIGN // ART DIRECTION
The Marina Times is a monthly neighborhood newspaper published in San Francisco since 1984. I am currently responsible for the layout of art and editorial pages as well as new advertisements. The paper has widely diverse content ranging from politics to food, and pets to entertainment. Prior to the Marina Times I was also responsible for the art direction and design of its sister publication, Northside San Francisco, now defunct.
